Did NCT Doyoung Date Girls' Generation Taeyeon?
Rumors that NCT member Doyoung was dating Girls' Generation member Taeyeon sparked in March 2019. At the time, an internet user created a post titled "Taeyeon's new boyfriend." The post soon went viral, with people uploading alleged proof that the two idols and labelmates are dating.

On March 23, 2019, SM Entertainment shared selfies of Doyoung backstage at Taeyeon's concert. Upon closer inspection, internet users found that they were wearing similar knotted rings. Therefore, people speculated that they were wearing couple rings.
Other people brought out that Taeyeon frequently talked about NCT on social media at the time. In 2017, Taeyeon appeared on Park So Hyun's "Love Game" and revealed that she wants to get closer to NCT. Though she said she wanted to get closer to NCT Dream, she stated that in NCT 127, she likes Doyuoung, Haechan, and Mark.

She also shared an Instagram Story of an NCT 127 signed album. However, it appears to be from the whole group.
Internet users brought up on an old Instagram post of Taeyeon in which she is wearing a carrot and bunny headband. She captioned her post with a single carrot emoji. At the time, people accused Taeyeon of making a secret "lovestagram" with Doyoung, who was known for his carrot-orange hair.
On March 5, Doyoung shared a few photos on Twitter with the caption "Boyfriend pic." Coincidentally, Taeyeon also posted a photo that day with the caption "It's 33" and a heart. People quickly assumed the posts were for each other.
However, others shut down these rumors. Upon closer inspection, it was noted that while Taeyeon and Doyoung had similar rings, they were different. Taeyeon's ring is twisted tightly, while Doyoung's rights were broader and had looser twists.
It was also noted that the photo of the two in the rings was taken at Taeyeon's concert. So while it may appear that Doyoung was the only member of NCT to attend, several other NCT members also came to support Taeyeon.

While Doyoung did share a photo on Twitter with the caption "boyfriend pic," he was not the only NCT member to do so that day. Jungwoo and Jaehyun also shared posts with the phrase "boyfriend pic" to the group's Twitter account.
SM Entertainment never released a statement on the matter.
NCT Doyoung Relationship 2021 + Ideal Type
As of the time of writing, Doyoung has been confirmed to be dating anyone. So with that, it is safe to assume that the "Sticker" singer is single.
However, he has revealed his ideal type. According to SoMagNews.Com, Doyoung's ideal type is a girl with good manners and respect. He has no qualms about age and is willing to date someone younger and older.
Doyoung also wants to date someone humble and intelligent. He wants them to be not too vain. Additionally, maturity is a plus point for the NCT member.
