Big Hit Music Warns Against Products That Infringe BTS' Rights at 'Permission to Dance On Stage - LA' Concert

Big Hit Music to Crackdown Products That Infringe BTS' Rights at Los Angeles Concert

Recently on November 26, BTS' label Big Hit Music released an official statement titled, "Notice on artists' portraits and unauthorized use of trademarks" through their social media.

According to the Grammy-nominated group's label, Big Hit Music will be taking strict measures against those who are habitually producing, selling, and distributing products that makes use of BTS' portraits and trademark rights without permission.

With that, they plan to conduct an on-site crackdown and monitoring of products that infringe BTS' rights during the group's four-day offline concert, "Permission to Dance On Stage," in Los Angeles.

"Hello. This is Big Hit Music.

We will be taking strict measures against companies that habitually produce, sell, and distribute products that make use of BTS' portraits and trademarks without permission (hereafter referred to as 'infringing rights').

During the time of BTS' 'PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - LA' concert, we plan to conduct an on-site crackdown on products that infringe those rights at the concert stadium to protect the artists' rights.

We will continue to do our best to protect the portrait and trademark rights of our artists.

Fans who visit the venue should also be careful not to suffer damage by purchasing related products.

Thank you."

Meanwhile, BTS is currently preparing for their four-day offline concert "PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - LA" to be held on November 27 and 28, and December 1 and 2 local time at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

The concert also marks BTS' first face-to-face concert in a little over two years since their concert "2019 BTS WORLD TOUR LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF THE FINAL" in Seoul.

BTS' Latest and Upcoming Activities

Ahead of their concerts in Los Angeles, BTS flew out to the city back on November 17 and arriving the next day. Prior to beginning their official schedules, BTS took the time to relax around California - even attending a Harry Styles concert!

On November 21, BTS attended the 2021 American Music Awards, where they performed "Butter" and "My Universe," and won three awards including Artist of the Year.

More recently, BTS made a guest appearance on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" on November 23.

After performing for their concert, BTS will also be taking center stage at the Los Angeles stop for iHeartRadio's Jingle Ball tour on December 3 local time.
