Apink's 'HORN' Breaks Group's 7-Year-Old Record for First-Week Sales on Hanteo
Apink's "HORN" has obtained the group's highest first-week sales on Hanteo to date, surpassing a record from seven years ago.

On Feb. 14, Apink returned with their special album "HORN," marking their first group comeback in almost two years since their ninth mini-album "Look" was dropped in April 2020.

According to Hanteo Chart, "HORN" sold 53,005 copies in the first week of its release (Feb. 14 to 20). It becomes the girl group's first album since their debut to surpass 50,000 copies in the first seven days.

With this, "HORN" easily surpassed the first-week sales of the group's previous mini-album "Look," which sold 29,156 copies (from April 13 to 19 of 2020).

Other than that, Apink's "HORN" first-week sales figure on Hanteo is now the group's new best record. The special album has beaten the record of 32,478 copies sold by the girls' 2015 album "Pink Memory," which had been unbroken for approximately seven years.
Impressively, Apink's special album surpassed the record of "Pink Memory" in just three days as it already sold almost 40,000 copies from Feb. 14 to 16.

With over 53,000 copies sold, Apink's "HORN" has become the seventh best-selling album released in 2022 by a female K-pop artist and the third best-selling album dropped in 2022 by a K-pop girl group (following Kep1er and fromis_9).

Apart from setting the group's new record for first-week sales on Hanteo, Apink's special album has also attained Apink's new highest first-day sales. It sold 21,593 copies on Feb. 14, smashing their previous record of 20,460 set by their 2020 album "Look."
As of Feb. 22, Apink's "HORN" has a cumulative sales figure of 54,677 copies after selling 1,672 more copies on that day.

Apink Releases Special Movie 'HORN' to Commemorate 10th Anniversary
In other news, Apink has presented a short film, titled "Apink Special Movie: Horn" to celebrate the upcoming 10th anniversary of their debut, which was on April 19 of last year. The release of their special album "HORN" is also a part of the commemoration.

On Feb. 23, "Apink Special Movie: Horn" was screened exclusively via CGV, the biggest multiplex cinema chain in South Korea. The film was shown in a total of 26 cinemas nationwide.

The movie runs for a total of 6 minutes and features the production process of Apink's "HORN" and the title track "Dilemma," as well as never-before-seen interviews and performances held during "Pink Eve," the group's fan meeting that was held on Dec. 31 of last year.
Apink's "HORN" 1st win on "The Show"
Meanwhile, Apink has recently won their first music show trophy for "Dilemma." On the Feb. 22 episode of "The Show," "Dilemma" went up against VIVIZ's "BOP BOP!" and Wonho's "Eye on You." Apink eventually secured first place with a total of 9,700 points.
Only five members of Apink are participating in the comeback promotions as Son Naeun is unable to take part due to conflict in the schedules of both sides.
