Changmin debuted as a member of the now-duo TVXQ back in December 2003. Following his debut, Changmin became one of the most popular K-pop idols, with TVXQ seeing widespread success in both South Korea and around Asia. Since then, he has been regarded as a K-pop royalty for his contribution to the industry. With his status and as a top idol, fans are always eager to know more about Changmin's personal and public life.

Back in 2013, Changmin became involved in a dating rumor after Victoria took to her personal social media to share a seemingly innocent photo.
In February 2013, Victoria shared a couple of photos of her food on her Weibo account to celebrate the Lunar New Year holiday. On her Weibo, Victoria added the caption, "Congrats on the new Lunar New Year holiday. Although the food isn't associated with the Lunar New Year, I made beef soup and fried radishes."

In the photo, beef soup, fried radishes, a bowl of rice, and a pair of chopsticks and a spoon can be seen. However, eagle-eyed fans noticed something interesting in the reflection of Victoria's spoon.
Fans had zoomed in on what appears to be the reflection of a male on the spoon, which fans claimed to be none other than "Mirotic" hitmaker Changmin due to the similar features. Although some fans were skeptical and thought that it may be someone who just closely resembles the TVXQ member.
However, fans were quick to conclude that Changmin was dating Victoria at the time, with the rumor spreading across online platforms.

Due to this, reports of their supposed relationship reached SM Entertainment, with an official responding by saying that they would look into the matter and determine if it really was Changmin reflected on the spoon.
SM Entertainment later confirmed that it was indeed Changmin. However, they explained that the two were not involved in a romantic relationship. And while the two were indeed having a meal together, they were accompanied by other staff members and choreographer Shim Jae Won at the time.

Despite SM Entertainment's statement, some fans were not convinced that there isn't anything romantic going on between Changmin and Victoria.
Netizens even dug up past photos of the two to "prove" their relationship, such as having the same phone accessory and suitcase. Others also shared a photo of Changmin and Victoria seemingly holding hands backstage at SMTOWN's concert in the past.

But despite seeing the photos, fans came to the two idols' defense, and concluded that they are not romantically involved with each other.

Currently, Changmin is happily married after marrying his non-celebrity girlfriend back on October 25, 2020 in a private wedding ceremony.
His relationship was made public back in December 2019, before announcing through a handwritten latter in June 2020 about his engagement.
