A perfect all-kill, PAK for short, is one of the indications of a song's success in South Korea. PAK is achieved when a track reaches No. 1 on the real-time and daily charts of major domestic music streaming platforms (such as Melon, Bugs, Genie, FLO, VIBE, and YouTube Music), as well as the first place on Instiz's real-time and weekly iChart. Releases that score a perfect all-kill are considered smash hits.

This 2022, only six K-pop songs have attained PAK so far. Find out which tracks are those below!

These Are the Only 6 K-pop Songs to Score Perfect All-Kill in 2022 So Far

1. TAEYEON "INVU"

Starting our list is SNSD Taeyeon's "INVU," which is the very first K-pop song to achieve a perfect all-kill this 2022. Its first PAK was on Feb. 26, 12 days after it came out on Feb. 14.

Serving as the title song of Taeyeon's third studio album, "INVU" is a house-pop dance song that expresses one's feelings after realizing how different their lover acts compared to herself, who doesn't hold back in love even after getting hurt in repetition.

2. (G)I-DLE "TOMBOY"

Leading (G)I-DLE's first studio album "I NEVER DIE," "TOMBOY" is the girl group's most successful release to date. Why? Partly because "TOMBOY" is the first group song and the second K-pop song overall to reach a perfect all-kill (PAK) this 2022, as well as the group's first-ever track to do so.

(G)I-DLE's "TOMBOY" achieved its first PAK on March 24, 10 days after it dropped on March 14. As of this writing, the song has a total of 167 hourly PAKs.

3. BIGBANG "Still Life"

Released on April 5, "Still Life" ended BIGBANG's four-year hiatus in the K-pop scene. This was no doubt one of the most highly-anticipated comebacks in K-pop history. The song also marked BIGBANG's first release as a four-piece group.

BIGBANG's "Still Life" immediately shot to the top of Korean music charts after its release. In fact, the song only took six days to obtain its first perfect-all kill, proving the group's unchanging popularity in South Korea. Additionally, "Still Life" is the first song by a male artist to score a PAK this 2022.

4. IVE "After LIKE"

Next, we have IVE who is the only rookie group on our list. The six-piece act got their first PAK with their second comeback song "After LIKE," which is the title track of their single album of the same name.

Notably, "After LIKE" is the fourth K-pop song to achieve a perfect all-kill this 2022, and made IVE the fastest fourth-generation K-pop group to reach this feat, doing so in only 284 days since their debut in December 2021.

5. (G)I-DLE "Nxde"

"Nxde" is another (G)I-DLE release that became one of the only six K-pop songs to attain PAK this year. With this, (G)I-DLE is the only Korean artist this 2022 to get a perfect all-kill with two songs. Moreover, (G)I-DLE became the first idol group since TWICE in 2016 to have multiple tracks attaining PAK in a single calendar year.

6. YOUNHA "Event Horizon"

The sixth and latest K-pop song to obtain a perfect all-kill this 2022 is YOUNHA's "Event Horizon." This track was released in March as the title song of her repackage album, 'End Theory: Final Edition." But, "Event Horizon" only garnered attention and climbed up the domestic charts later this year after YOUNHA began performing it at universities and festivals. It got its first PAK on Nov. 20.
