Stray Kids Breaks Record for Most Pre-Ordered K-pop Album With '★★★★★ (5-STAR)'
On May 30, Stray Kids has set a new record for the most pre-ordered K-pop album in history with upcoming release "★★★★★ (5-STAR)."
The comeback will be Stray Kids' highly anticipated third full-length content, which surpassed 4.93 million stock pre-orders (May 30) three days ahead before its official release.
Apart from cementing their highest pre-order record in their career, Stray Kids have also set the highest pre-order count of all time, making history among K-pop artists.
Stray Kids have now broken the record previously held by SEVENTEEN's 10th mini album 'FML,' which managed to collect 4.64 million pre-orders.
With its current fast pacing, "'★★★★★ (5-STAR)" will most likely reach the 5 million mark, a figure only achieved by BTS's album "Map of the Soul: 7."

Stray Kids' 'ODDINARY' Becomes JYPE Album With Most Pre-Order Numbers
In other news, Stray Kids' album "ODDINARY" also secured a feat with its pre-order count. On March 17, 2022, agency JYP Entertainment announced that "ODDINARY" has surpassed 1.3 million pre-orders on March 16.
This achievement broke their own personal record, previously held by their second full-length album "NOEASY," which gathered 930,000 pre-orders on August 23, 2021. It also became the most pre-ordered JYPE album ever from a fourth-generation group.
