Ex-Lovelyz Mijoo Brought to Hospital Following Injury — What Happened?
During the latest broadcast of tvN's hit variety show "Hangout With Yoo," former Lovelyz member Mijoo suffered an injury. The entertainer was swiftly rushed to the hospital soon after. Keep reading to learn more.
Ex-Lovelyz Mijoo Suffers Injury During Filming
On December 25, the latest episode of "Hangout With Yoo" aired. During the episode, Mijoo was seen taking castmate Robert to visit the sea. Previously, Robert confessed that he wanted to see the sea and that it was part of his bucket list, as there are no beaches in his native country, Slovakia.
Unfortunately, the plan did not pan out as they expected. During their trip, the duo experienced unfavorable weather conditions, such as strong winds and temperature drops.
Despite that, Robert kept a positive attitude.
"It was my first time to see the sea. Due to the weather, the waves kept getting stronger, so I was able to feel the power of nature. It's so interesting, seeing the strong winds and the big waves."
Though Robert seemed satisfied with his experience, Mijoo appeared uneasy with how the trip was turning out. Her uneasiness ultimately led to her unfortunate injury.

The idol was seen opening the car door, when she accidentally hit her face. Though she pretended to be okay, Mijoo's eyes were swollen and a bruise had formed under her eyes.
Robert soon noticed Mijoo's injury, and despite the former Lovelyz member insisting she was alright, he was worried about her well-being.
Looking back at the situation, Mijoo revealed she did not realize how bad the injury was at the time, explaining:
"I did not realize it was that serious. I was focused on how we needed to reach the next destinations and that I had Robert by my side."
Though she was determined to accomplish their plans, she was seen repeatedly blinking in pain. As she noticed her injury worsening, Mijoo eventually went to a nearby hospital to receive treatment.
Robert was seen repeatedly apologizing to Mijoo, but she assured him that the injury was not his fault and was caused by her own actions.
Despite her reassurance, Robert appeared restless. To soothe his nerves, Mijoo offered to take a picture to celebrate their trip together.

However, Mijoo honestly confessed how painful her injury was to the doctor. After leaving the hospital, Mijoo did her best to show off her bright appearance again.
But Robert advised her to go home and rest, saying:
"Don't think about me, just go home and rest well. Please, I am begging you."
In the end, Mijoo relented. However, she promised to meet Robert again after she recovered from her injury.
"I will pick you up tomorrow morning!"
The next day, Mijoo went to pick up Robert and the two created unforgettable memories, such as glamping and enjoying a delicious homemade dinner in a quiet forest.
